Project Manager

Opportunity

As a Xenatus Project Manager you are accountable for the management of one or more client relationships, one or more implementation projects and project teams to lead the successful implementation of solutions on behalf of clients. The focus of these solutions shall be the intersection of highly effective business operations and highly leveraged technology. Additionally, every Xenatus Project Manager has the responsibility to grow Xenatus both in terms of total revenues through sales and personnel through staffing activities.

Responsibilities

Identify market opportunities for Xenatus Global
Sell implementation services
Develop and leverage relationships with business partners
Develop and leverage formal and informal networks
Write proposals
Conduct project planning sessions
Develop/track project plans (scope, schedule, resources)
Estimate and budget projects and tasks
Assign and manage project resources
Set and manage client and partner expectations
Assist in vendor relations, employee/HR matters
Report status to client and Xenatus management
Manage project tasks and ensure quality of deliverables:
- Client interviews
- Business process analysis
- Business process improvements
- Requirements analysis and documentation
- Gap analysis between existing software and requirements
- Conceptual design documents
- Application software configuration
- Software Pilot/Test
- Test plans
- Test plan execution
- Test plan validation
- System and process documentation
- System user training
Mentor, coach and teach Xenatus and client personnel
Develop and leverage formal and informal networks
Develop leads and follow-up on opportunities

The following are the primary activities and skills used by the Project Manager to achieve a high standard of project management:

Planning - Scope and Task Definition, Budgeting and Scheduling
Organizing - Resource Allocation, Team Building and Role/Task Assignment
Influencing - Building Rapport, Leading, Consensus Building, Conflict Resolution and Expectation and Change Management
Controlling - Progress Tracking and Status Reporting, Issue Tracking and Resolution, Communication and Configuration, Version and Release Management

Qualifications

Five or more years of hands on Project Management experience
Management of methodologies necessary to ensure successful implementation of client solutions:
- Software Development Lifecycle Management
- Process Definition
- Data Flow Diagramming
- Process Flow Charting
- Process Modeling
- Data Modeling
- Entity Relationship Diagramming
- Database Design
- Experience with RUP (Rational Unified Process)
Preferred Industry Expertise:
- Media & Entertainment Industry experience (Digital Asset Management experience a plus)
- Financial Management/Investments
- Government
- Import/Export Services
- Real Estate and Property Management
- Telecommunications and Wireless Services
Superior communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to collaborate across the organization to meet the needs of the client.
A B.S./B.A. degree is required.
