Xenatus’ Digital Designer is responsible for developing design solutions. The Digital Designer role requires strong and flexible skills in visual design, interactive design and awareness of client-side technologies. Substantial understanding of user interface issues and information architecture is desired.
Responsibilities
Participate, prioritize, coordinate, and conduct user requirements analysis, conceptual modeling, and usability testing
Design and specify user interface and product creation materials utilizing iterative design techniques
Drive project ideation; graphics development; ability to take art direction and constructive criticism; ability to manage and estimate personal time outlays for each project
Deliver designs using design software, e.g., Illustrator, Flash, and PhotoShop
Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented
Qualifications
2+ Years professional design experience
Requires strong and flexible skills in visual design and interactive design
Solid understanding of user interface issues and information architecture is also important
Excellent customer service and interpersonal (team) skills
Communication skills - speaks and writes clearly in English
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Ability to collaborate across the organization to meet the needs of the client
A B.S./B.A. degree is required
