As a Xenatus Director of Business Development, you are accountable for identifying and qualifying sales leads while establishing, and maintaining appropriate client and vendor relationships and communicating the services and products offered as corresponding to our corporate strategy. Turn prospects into customers through active involvement in the sales cycle by going on sales calls with your sales team, evaluating customer needs, and formulating effective solutions.

Responsibilities
Responsible for selling Information Technology talent and solutions
Build a book of business within a defined territory, by offering business solutions around Xenatus’ services
Sell into new named accounts; develop new leads and opportunities through daily sales activities
Exploit networking contacts to identify new opportunities
Lead sales calls and presentations for new and existing clients
Evangelize consulting service offerings within the existing client base and target new business clients. Promote consulting offerings within the sales force and teach salespeople how to listen for consulting opportunities
Educate sales representatives on how to position offerings against potential competitors
Proactively generate sales opportunities by evangelizing consulting service offerings
Develop and present overviews of Xenatus’ offerings to prospects and clients
Work directly with clients and analysts to identify client needs and map their business challenges
Design consulting projects that meet each client’s unique needs and develop well-structured proposals
Present proposals to prospective clients during teleconferences or onsite meetings
Lead client communications on proposal walk through discussions and drive the client decision process to closure
Write clearly defined Statement of Work with pre-sales personnel
Ultimately responsible for getting contracts signed
Provide initial account management and ensure smooth handoff to Delivery Teams
Provide guidance and support to recruiting staff for open positions
Qualifications
Successful track record driving sales of consulting or professional services, including structuring consulting projects, writing winning proposals, and negotiating through the client’s procurement process
Familiarity with or interest in sophisticated market research techniques, such as conjoint, segmentation, or cluster analyses is a plus
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Strong proposal-writing and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate across the organization to meet the needs of the client
A B.S./B.A. degree is required
Willingness to travel as needed
