Xenatus’ Business Analyst employs broad-based skills and expertise in a self-sufficient manner to realize client success with little or no external assistance. The client success is attained through the delivery of optimum, business application solutions through interaction with the client personnel ranging from senior management to floor operations employees.
Responsibilities
Assist in project planning sessions
Coordinate with Project Manager regarding status reporting and meeting minutes
Utilize agile methodologies such as Rational Unified Process and Six Sigma
Conduct client interviews
Analyze business processes
Develop business use case models
Develop business process improvements
Analyze and document solution requirements
Prepare conceptual design documents
Pilot/Test software
Write test scripts
Develop test plans
Run test scenarios
Document results
Create and maintain system and process documentation
Train system users
Develop and leverage formal and informal networks

Qualifications
Business Analyst experience in a custom software development environment (3+ years)
Self-motivated, thorough and accurate in all aspects of work assignments
Ability to learn new systems quickly and willing to accept challenges
Excellent customer service and interpersonal (team) skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment
Working experience with process definition such as Data Flow Diagramming, Process Flow Charting and Process Modeling
Experience in translating functional requirements into domain object models
Experience with RUP (Rational Unified Process) is a plus
Experience with Rational tools such as Rational ClearQuest, Rational ClearCase, Rational RequisitePro and Rational Rose
Working experience with SDLC methodology is a plus
Experience with Quality Assurance (QA) processes and tools
Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques is a plus
Experience with complex logical database designs and relational database concepts is a plus
Intimate knowledge of productivity tools – Microsoft Office and SQL
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Ability to collaborate across the organization to meet the needs of the client
A B.S./B.A. degree is required
