Dynamics CRM Senior Consultant

Xenatus’Dynamics CRM Senior Consultant is accountable for the delivery of technical consulting services to effect the successful implementation of solutions on behalf of clients. A Senior Consultant is responsible for modifying, customizing and installing Microsoft Dynamics software at the direction of a project manager; gathering business requirements through direct virtual or onsite client interaction; translating those requirements into detailed functional, technical specifications; programming code or modifying existing programs to customize software to the Client’s needs; testing and debugging program errors; and implementing an efficient solution for Clients.
  •  Perform any task necessary to satisfy clients’ needs
  • Assist in project planning sessions with Xenatus and client management
  • Analyze and document business processes and requirements
  • Perform gap analysis between existing software and requirements
  • Prepare conceptual design documents
  • Prepare technical specifications
  • Perform coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting program modifications and enhancements in NAV that include:
    1. Configure
    2. Troubleshoot
    3. Modify
    4. Create
  •  Perform NAV and SQL installation, migration, data migration/conversion
  • Perform SQL database administration & maintenance functions
  • Testing
    1. Write test scripts
    2. Develop test plans
    3. Run test scenarios
    4. Document results
  • Train system users
  • Develop and leverage formal and informal networks
  • Learn and grow professional abilities, skills and knowledge

  • Information Technology experience
  • Hands-on development experience to apply generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation
  • Understanding of Dynamics CRM modules and application processes
  • Experience in MS Dynamics CRM, .NET, C# and SQL programming development. Experience with MS SharePoint is a plus. Experience writing reports also a plus.
  • MS Dynamics CRM certification is a plus; if not applicable, Xenatus will provide.
  • Must work well both in a team environment and independently under minimal supervision

  • Working experience with SDLC methodology
  • Communication skills – speaks and writes clearly in English
  • Microsoft:
    1. Experience with Microsoft SQL server and Windows Server
    2. Understanding of Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange architecture
    3. Office Development troubleshooting (Access, InfoPath, Excel, Word templates, etc)
    4. Microsoft SQL Server Database platform – hands on architecture and design of database schema and ability to create stored procedures and optimized SQL query statements
